Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker noted that the game heralds the long-awaited return of Acid Nerve developers: “We can resurrect them. We have the technology. We can make them better than they were. Better, stronger, faster. Andhopefully, more profitable. “

In the bizarre world of Death’s Door, the souls of the dead are collected by Crows who earn their living by honest labor – such are their gray and boring everyday life. But sometimes the work can become more interesting and lively: for example, if the soul assigned to the Crow is stolen, and he must hunt down a desperate thief in a kingdom untouched by death, where creatures grow far beyond the allotted life span and are filled with greed and power.

Players will have to leave the Hall of Doors, explore a land full of perverted inhabitants and countless secrets, giving hope to the strange and wonderful characters who will meet their paths. Along the way, you will need to use and improve melee weapons, arrows, and magic to defeat any fantastic creature or even a demigod in your path.

All mistakes will have consequences, but rewards will follow for victories. You will need to adjust the character’s parameters, master skills, and improvements to gain an advantage. Also, it will be possible to track down and destroy gigantic tyrants in the game, finding out their stories and motives. The developers promise a dark and comical story about the flow of souls, the purpose of the crows, and the gate’s origin.

Judging by the Death’s Door page on Steam, Russian localization is available in the form of subtitles (this is quite enough because the voice acting is not provided).
