In 2024, shipments will grow to 60 million smartphones

Reliable analyst and insider Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that demand for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro has been very high since the launch of the smartphone on August 29. The supply forecast for the second half of the year increased by 20% and amounts to 5.5-6 million units.

Compared to older models, it is clear that the demand for the Mate 60 Pro is much higher. The 4G-capable Mate 50 Pro was launched in September 2022, with cumulative shipments reaching around 2.5 million units 12 months after launch. The 5G-enabled Mate 40 Pro was released in October 2020, with cumulative shipments reaching approximately 6 million units 12 months after launch. In comparison, Mate 60 Pro shipments should reach 5.5-6 million units in just 4 months.
