Desperados is 20 years old – the sale of games in the series has begun on Steam
On April 20, 2001, twenty years ago, the Spellbound Entertainment studio, now known as the Black Forest Games publisher, released Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive. To celebrate the event, the Desperados series has begun a holiday sale on Steam until April 23rd. Desperados III and all add-ons are now 50% off. Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge and Helldorado are all sold for a quarter of the price.
Last week, Desperados III, created by Mimimi Games, was voted the German Game Awards 2021 as the best German game of the past year. This is a real-time tactic about the harsh life in the Wild West. The game features five characters with their own skills, great freedom of choice, and many options for solving each situation, from stealth to firing from all barrels. Careful planning and execution will bring victory over many enemies, but it is necessary to consider their location and characteristics of the environment. Collective play is not provided.
