Developers of mobile NieR Re [in] carnation showed an excerpt from the western version and promised an early announcement

The head of the development of shareware mobile adventure NieR Re [in] carnation Daichi Matsukawa in the official microblog of the game commented on the development status of the western version.

NieR Re [in] carnation will appear outside of Japan, publisher Square Enix and developer studio Applibot announced in September 2020 at TGS 2020 Online. However, the details of the release are still kept secret.

Apparently, according to Matsukawa, the English-language version of NieR Re [in] carnation will not be long: “the localization for the original release has been completed,” and the team is currently preparing to launch pre-registration.

“I apologize for the long wait, but we are doing our best to ensure that everyone can enjoy playing NieR Re [in] carnation. We would be very grateful if everyone waited a little longer before the announcement of the pre-registration, ”said Matsukawa.

As proof of their words, the developers demonstrated a short (only 12 seconds) gameplay teaser for the western version of NieR Re [in] carnation.

The team notes that the released excerpt represents “just a small fraction” of what the developers of the English-language edition of NieR Re [in] carnation can currently share with fans.

The Japanese version of NieR Re [in] carnation was released on February 18 this year on iOS and Android devices. Since launch, the total number of unique downloads of the game has exceeded 10 million in the two weeks.
