The developers are actively fighting the leak: moreover, in a conversation with DualShockers reporters, a representative of CD Projekt RED confirmed that the team is ready to take legal action against violators of the embargo.

Despite its best efforts, CD Projekt RED will certainly not be able to prevent spoilers for Cyberpunk 2077 from infiltrating the Net, so social media and forums should now be viewed with caution.

Cyberpunk 2077 is not the first major release of 2020 to fall victim to leaks: a month and a half before the release of The Last of Us Part II, the plot and gameplay videos of the ambitious action game Naughty Dog hit the Internet.

As a result of the recent postponement, the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 is expected on December 10 of this year on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and on GeForce Now and Google Stadia services. The developers have previously published extended system requirements for the game.
