The boom in generative AI has already had a significant impact on Nvidia’s revenue, and it’s unlikely to change for the foreseeable future. According to the results of the current year, the company will sell about 550,000 of its latest and most powerful accelerators for AI – Nvidia H100.
Does Nvidia need GeForce gaming graphics cards now?
The revenue from the sale of such a number of accelerators will be tens of billions of dollars, and this is just one model. But in the range of Nvidia there is also the A100, as well as versions for China: A800 and H800, whose sales are also clearly huge.
At the same time, Nvidia is limited by the capabilities of TSMC, which simply cannot produce as many GPUs for such accelerators as Nvidia could sell.
