Recall that in a conversation with investors last week, CD Projekt President Adam Kicinski assured that the studio is not going to profit from the players – monetization will not be aggressive.

Of course, we are talking exclusively about the multiplayer component: in the single-player campaign of Cyberpunk 2077, as the developers have already reported more than once, there will be no in-game purchases.

This fact did not prevent some from accusing CD Projekt RED of breaking promises. The studio does not agree with this opinion: “Nothing has changed. Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player game without micro-payments. One purchase. No gimmicks. Don’t trust click baits

“In Cyberpunk multiplayer, which is a standalone project, there will be microtransactions, but we talked about this a year ago. As always, expect from us a respectful attitude towards your money, “ – said the developers.

Instead of micropayments for Cyberpunk 2077’s story mode, a number of paid and free add-ons are being prepared. According to the same Kichinsky, the presentation of the studio’s post-release plans will take place “pretty soon

Cyberpunk 2077’s single-player campaign is expected to be released on November 19 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. The multiplayer mode, apparently, the game will receive no earlier than 2022.
