Another bad news for fans of games from Sony.

The company postponed the release of The Last of Us: Part II indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic and does not name a new release date. And now it became known that before the premiere we will not see the demo of the game.

The company will wait until the situation in the world stabilizes. Since the temporary cancellation of the release of the game is not related to production problems, many fans who are now at home expected that at least they would get a demo. However, this will not happen.

As Neil Drackmann, director of The Last of Us Part 2, explains, there’s no point in wasting resources and energy on creating a demo version that could negatively affect the quality of the final version of the game. Moreover, now the development team is engaged only in improvements.

It is worth forgetting about the previously presented press demonstration. In practice, this version no longer reflects what The Last of Us: Part II has become over the years since it was not planned to show it to a wide audience.
