Secondly, the physics of character control has changed. In the first part, the main character was controlled more slowly, which facilitated the gameplay and created a feeling of “weight” for the character. In Doodle Jump 2, the increased sensitivity when turning the device made it harder to hit the platforms. Therefore, the average time of a gaming session decreased, and the probability of losing increased. Also, there is no Russian language in the game and after each loss, an advertisement is shown. The developers offer an in-game service to disable it for 449 rubles. The payment is one-time. The game is already ranked 26th on the App Store’s top charts for action. Currently, Doodle Jump 2 is available only for the iOS platform.

The original Doodle Jump was released on iOS on April 6, 2009. A feature of the game at that time was the use of the accelerometer to control the character. Even after 11 years, the company still continues to release updates and support the first part.
