The Entertainment Software Association recently canceled the E3 2020 exhibition. Moreover, the ESA has confirmed that it is not going to host an online version of the event this year.
E3 2020 was left without an online version
“Given the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not conduct an online version of E3 2020 in June. Instead, we will cooperate with members of the organization and promote and demonstrate, including on the website www.E3expo.com, individual announcements of companies in the coming months, ”the statement said.
However, the ESA plans to hold E3 from June 15 to 17, 2021. In 2021, the ESA intends to introduce a “rethought E3.”
Earlier, Ubisoft and Microsoft announced their willingness to hold their online presentations. Bethesda, in turn, noted that in June there will not be any online events.
