“Ellie Wick”: the player showed how the protagonist of The Last of Us Part II catches bullets in the air from enemies

The Last of Us Part II divided the community of players in two: some showered it with negative reviews, others awarded the title of the best project in 2020. But even those who didn’t like TLoU II at all recognize the excellent technical execution of the action. The amount of interesting details in the game is off the charts. Onlylaiden shared another find on Reddit – a forum visitor demonstrated how Ellie catches bullets in the air.

The video shows a short fragment of a battle involving the main character of The Last of Us Part II and several enemies. The girl first runs through the spacious room, moves into the corridor, and meets opponents. She comes close to one of them and fires a shotgun in the head. The enemy dies, and at this moment ammunition falls out of him.

While the cartridges were in the air, a mark with a triangle appeared on the screen. Onlylaiden pressed the indicated key on the gamepad, after which Ellie made a movement that few probably saw – she turned around on the run and grabbed the ammunition right in the air.

Visitors to Reddit liked the onlylaiden video (more than 4 thousand positive marks). One of the commentators wrote under the video: “Ellie Wick”, comparing her dexterity with the skill of John Wick, the main character of the films of the same name film franchise.
