Pixel 8 Pro will allegedly cost more than 1200 euros
Google Pixel smartphones have always stood out from other flagships of famous brands at a lower price. The younger models of recent years (Pixel 6 and Pixel 7) started at just $600 while offering flagship specifications. However, in the new generation, Google may refuse such generosity.
End of cheap Google Pixels?
The Tech Outlook resource claims that Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be significantly more expensive than their predecessors at launch – that the younger model in Europe will cost 875 euros, and for the older one you will have to pay 1235 euros. For comparison: in the European region, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro launched with prices of 650 and 900 euros, respectively.
This is a very significant rise in price, which even Apple does not allow itself, so for now this information should be treated with a grain of salt. Moreover, nothing is attributed to Google’s new products that could explain such a strong price increase.
