IQOO has officially confirmed that the iQOO 3 phones, which was launched from Android 10 out of the box, will be updated to Android 11, and will definitely receive a firmware update to Android 12. However, this will happen no earlier than next fall, when Google releases a new operating system.

In addition, the manufacturer confirmed that iQOO 3 will receive Android security updates for three years. That is, the smartphone will be supported by updates until 2023, which will definitely please the owners.

Recall, the iQOO 3 5G smartphone is built on the basis of the Snapdragon 865 single-chip system with the X50 modem, it received up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory, a 4440 mAh battery with support for fast charging with 55 watts.
