Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division, did not go past such a significant announcement. He recalled that Ninja Theory, a Microsoft-owned studio, uses the Epic Games engine in the Hellblade II project and the creators intend to “bring innovation to life on the Xbox Series X.”

“The incredible work of the Epic Games team. Many of our in-house studios use Unreal engine technology, such as the Ninja Theory team responsible for Hellblade II. They are very interested in bringing these Unreal Engine 5 innovations to life on the Xbox Series X, ”Spencer tweeted.
