EVGA Z15 Gaming Keyboard Featuring Kailh Mechanical Switches Introduced
EVGA has announced the Z15 Gaming Keyboard, which will be available for an estimated $ 130 price tag. The novelty has a bright multicolor RGB backlight with customizable buttons.
The solution is mechanical. Buyers will be able to choose between Kailh Speed Silver Linear and Kailh Speed Bronze Clicky derailleurs. Their declared service life reaches 70 million operations.
A wired USB 2.0 interface is used to connect to a computer. Simultaneously, as the developer emphasizes, a high polling frequency is achieved – 4000 Hz.
The keyboard is based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M33 processor. The total travel of the buttons is 3.5 mm, and the actuation point is 1.1 mm. The dimensions of the device are 151 × 445 × 37.5 mm.
In the upper right part above the block of numeric buttons, there are additional multimedia control keys. There is also a roller for adjusting the volume level.
The novelty is endowed with a magnetic wrist rest: it increases comfort during long gaming sessions.
