Facebook has confirmed that it has begun testing mid-roll format skippable in-stream ads.
Ads of this format will not be missed in the first 5 seconds of viewing. After 5 seconds, the Skip button will appear on the screen.

The commercials themselves can last 10-15 seconds.
What length should be the video for placement in it mid-roll ads on Facebook did not specify. On YouTube, the video must be at least 10 minutes long.

Testing is limited.
Recall that Facebook announced the extension of testing in-stream advertising in live broadcasts at the end of April.
