Final Fantasy VII Remake Reveals Yuffie Episode Title and Main Characters
Publisher Square Enix on the Final Fantasy series’s official website has shared new details of the additional episode announced in February for the PS5 version of the Final Fantasy VII remake.
Recall, in addition to graphic improvements, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (the so-called PS5 edition) includes an additional story chapter with the ninja Yuffie Kisaragi’s participation.
Contrary to popular belief, Yuffie’s Adventure does not share a title with an updated version of the first episode of the Final Fantasy VII remake for PS5 but has its own Episode INTERmission.
In addition to the title of the episode with Yuffie, Square Enix also introduced the main characters. The players are already familiar with the main character and her partner Simon, so let’s go through only the beginners:
- Judge is a Wutai who lives in Midgar and acts as a link between the government of his country and the headquarters of the Avalanche;
- No – Avalanche Headquarters Coordinator;
- Billy Bob is the most experienced employee of the Avalanche headquarters;
- The regiment is the youngest and most inexperienced employee of the Avalanche headquarters;
- Weiss is the head of the top-secret research center Deep Earth with sadistic inclinations.Besides, the developers showed in action (in the screenshots above) Yuffie’s abilities, including a unique ninjutsu attack and changing the elemental attribution of strikes, as well as the skills “Banish” and “Windstorm.”
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be released on June 10 this year exclusively on PS5. Owners of the PS4 version of the game will be able to update for free, but Episode INTERmission will have to be purchased separately.
