For linking to a GOG account, players will receive exclusive items in Cyberpunk 2077, some – in the style of The Witcher
After the fifth issue of Night City Wire, which introduced the new gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 and Keanu Reeves talked about the work on the game, the creators of CD Projekt RED made an interesting statement. The studio decided to draw additional attention to its GOG.com store. If users purchase the upcoming CDPR RPG on any of the platforms and link to an account on the service, they will receive exclusive cosmetic items.
The promotion applies to all platforms, including consoles of the now previous and current generations, as well as stores on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). For connecting to a GOG account, users will receive five exclusive items. The list includes a T-shirt and leather jacket inspired by The Witcher. The clothing depicts the emblem of the Wolf School, which includes Geralt of Rivia. Another T-shirt is decorated with a purple circle.
The fourth reward will be either a long knife or a katana. The picture is not entirely clear, and CD Projekt RED did not provide details. There is also the possibility that this is just a weapon skin. And the fifth prize is a plush toy, the purpose of which is also not disclosed.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now, and Google Stadia. Later, there will be versions of the action RPG for ninth-generation consoles.
