Forza Horizon 4 kicked off on Steam, but not everyone was happy

The launch of the racing arcade game Forza Horizon 4 on Steam did not go unnoticed: the game has already hit the list of the site’s best-selling products, and users are actively leaving reviews. However, they are not always positive.

At the time of publication, Playground Games’ newest (until the next Fable ) creation received over 1,000 user ratings on Steam with an average rating of 64%.

Several factors explain the relatively low figure: Russian-speaking players mostly complain about the technical component (crashes, does not start), and foreign ones – too high a price.

The fact is that the Steam version of Forza Horizon 4 in Russia is sold for 1,085 rubles, while residents of Europe and the United States are asked for € 70 (6,158 rubles) and $ 60 (4,437 rubles) for a game two years ago, respectively.

Despite the dissatisfaction of users, Forza Horizon 4 started on Steam very successfully, and by the time the material was published, it had even become the bestseller around the world.

The number of concurrent players is growing steadily and, according to SteamDB, has already exceeded 12.9 thousand people. For comparison: the best result of the Steam-version of Gears 5 remains 10.2 thousand users.

Forza Horizon 4 debuted in October 2018 on PC (Microsoft Store), and Xbox One, and in November 2020 reached Xbox Series X and S. On Steam, the game supports crossplay but not transferring saves from other platforms.
