Along with the Fujifilm X-S10 mirrorless camera in APS-C format, the Fujinon XF 10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens was presented today, detailed information about which appeared yesterday. According to the manufacturer’s estimates, this is the 36th model with an X-mount. It is an update to the Fujinon XF10-24mmF4 R OIS lens, released in late 2013.
Fujifilm rates the Fujinon XF 10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens at $ 1,000
Inheriting the optical design from the original model, the novelty covers the range of equivalent focal lengths of 15-36 mm, while maintaining a maximum aperture of f / 4 throughout the range. As before, the lens is equipped with a stabilizer, but its effectiveness has been increased from 2.5 to 3.5 exposure stops. New features include a redesigned large-scale aperture ring, auto-lock function, and a rugged design that resists dust and splashes. The lens design has been redesigned and the focus and zoom rings are thinner, thus reducing lens weight by 25g.
