The first thing that catches your eye when you see the photos of the Galax GeForce RTX 3090 HOF PCB is its incredibly powerful processor and memory power subsystem. The manufacturer has equipped the video card with a 26-phase VRM, which has never been seen in any other GeForce RTX 3090 graphics accelerator. How many phases are allocated for the processor, and how many for memory, unfortunately, is not reported. The power stages (MOSFETs and control drivers) are hidden behind the left and right heatsinks, so their number and configuration cannot yet be determined. According to the source, this VRM element is still subject to change.

Thanks to the photographs, it is also known that the Galax GeForce RTX 3090 HOF board is equipped with a button for changing the BIOS operating mode (usually quiet and productive), three 8-pin power connectors, as well as many different test points for measuring voltage when overclocking a video card. The prototype graphics accelerator is based on the GA102-300 chip, equipped with 24 GDDR6X memory modules located on both sides of the PCB, as well as an NVLink interface.

As mentioned above, Galax showed the future look of the GeForce RTX 3090 HOF graphics card inside a virtual showroom. Thanks to this, it became known that the cooling system of the novelty will be equipped with a large liquid crystal display, which will display various useful information.
