Although the platform itself will change
The Samsung Galaxy A25 smartphone will receive a platform from its older brothers, albeit two generations back.
According to Geekbench, the upcoming new product is based on the Exynos 1280. This platform served as the heart of the Galaxy A53 and A33, and now it will appear as a more affordable device located lower in the Samsung hierarchy.
Galaxy A25 5G will be based on a platform similar to the Galaxy A23 5G
For comparison, the Galaxy A24 is powered by the Helio G99, while the Galaxy A23 offers either a Snapdragon 680 or Snapdragon 695 depending on the version.
By the way, the latter is approximately equal in performance to the Exynos 1280, which means that if you compare the Galaxy A25 and A23 5G, there will simply be no performance gain in two years. True, the Galaxy A25 5G could be much cheaper, especially if there is no 4G version at all.
