After Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6
Samsung may release its first foldable Galaxy FE fan-made smartphone as early as next year.
Such a smartphone may appear in about a year. First, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 on the market, and after a while, the conditional Flip FE or Fold FE may also come out.
Galaxy Z FE could be out next year
Considering that the Flip line is more popular and more affordable, it would be more logical to expect the sub-$1,000 Flip FE model. Samsung could well equip it with a less than top-end platform and not use a large external screen.
There are not many foldable smartphones on the market at the moment in general, and even those with a price below $1,000 are even more so. Samsung, of course, will not be the first in this segment and is unlikely to be able to offer the cheapest device, but the popularity of the Galaxy FE models is very high, so the release of a folding smartphone for fans is quite logical.
