The company experimented with different options

As a result, the Galaxy Z Fold5 will appear on store shelves with an aspect ratio of the outer screen of 23.1:9, which gives the internal display an aspect ratio of 21.6:18.
Samsung also experimented a lot with different combinations of color, material and texture for the Galaxy Z Flip5 clamshell. Glossy and matte variations of various colors were considered. Small body design changes are also noticeable, such as a more curved back panel that didn’t make it past the prototyping stage.
