More recently, it was reported that the Chinese graphics card manufacturers GALAX and Gainward had released new BIOS versions for the GeForce RTX 3090, GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3070, and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti models. The first graphics accelerator to receive Resizable BAR support out of the box was the Ampere series’s youngest model, the GeForce RTX 3060. Manufacturers have already started releasing new BIOS versions for other models in the series and will soon be available on all Ampere series models.

A concise list of game titles supports the technology: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Battlefield V, Borderland 3, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Metro Exodus, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Watch Dogs Legion.

One of the ChipHell forum users installed an updated BIOS on a GeForce RTX 3090 and was able to test NVIDIA’s flagship solution in 4K resolution with maximum settings in the aforementioned games. On average, the productivity gain was 3.17%.
