As we already know, the PlayStation 5 will be able to run games for the PlayStation 4 as part of the backward compatibility feature. Some of them will get improvements, be it higher resolution (in cases where the developer has set it to dynamic) or performance. One of these games will be Ghost of Tsushima.

“PlayStation 5 owners will see an additional option [in Ghost of Tsushima] to increase the frame rate to 60 frames per second,” Sucker Punch Productions tweeted. ” And while the download speed on PlayStation 4 is already fast, just wait until you see it on PlayStation 5!”

Notably, Ghost of Tsushima on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro runs at 30 frames per second.

Ghost of Tsushima was released on July 17, 2020, exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game tells about the struggle of the Japanese samurai Jin Sakai against the Mongols invading the Japanese island of Tsushima in 1274.
