Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection turns out to be a temporary Switch exclusive – relaunch coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One
The Capcom publishing house in the official microblog of its American division confirmed the expansion of the target platforms Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection – the relaunch of the famous series.
Recall that Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection was announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Until recently, there was no talk of the game appearing outside the Nintendo hybrid console at all.
As it became known, Capcom is currently developing versions of Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Details of the upcoming release have not been specified.
The timing of the release of Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection on new target platforms was not announced, but the trailer released in connection with the announcement hints that it will not belong to wait.
In addition to confirming versions for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the aforementioned trailer contains a story about the project’s main features and excerpts from laudatory reviews from Western journalists.
On the release of Ghosts’ n Goblins, Resurrection divided critics into two camps: some were not against the old-school hardcore restart, while others considered the overestimated complexity a relic of the past.
Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection debuted on February 25 this year on Nintendo Switch. The action-platformer asks Arthur to rescue the princess from treacherous demons’ clutches and their master as a valiant knight familiar from the series.
