Gigabyte has come up with a new cooler for video cards Aorus Elite and will test it on the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Now the graphics accelerators Aorus from Gigabyte are presented in two series – Xtreme and Master. However, a third will soon be added to them – Aorus Elite. It will offer a completely new cooling system design, previously not found in the manufacturer’s range. At the VideoCardz resource’s disposal were images of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model in the new version of the Aorus Elite.

A large block aluminum radiator represents the cooling system of the novelty with several copper heat pipes and three fans, the dimensions of which are still unknown. Each fan has an ARGB ring around it.

On the side of the CO casing is the Aorus logo, also backlit. There is a stiffening plate with a large slot for more efficient hot air removal on the back of the video card.

The cards in this series will not receive any RGB backlighting or a side OLED screen, found in the older Xtreme and Master series. Nevertheless, the novelty turned out to be fat – the declared thickness of 2.7 expansion slots, which makes it far from the most compact non-standard version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aorus Elite is based on an NVIDIA GA104-200 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a 192-bit bus. Frequency rates are still unknown.

The printed circuit board of the novelty is non-standard. It is equipped with one 8-pin and one 6-pin power connector for additional power. The set of video interfaces is non-standard. It includes two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1.
