The casing of the cooling system itself is plastic. There is a reinforcing metal plate with a large hole for more efficient heat dissipation outside the video card on the back of the video card.

The manufacturer has not yet revealed the GeForce RTX 3060 Aorus Elite’s technical characteristics, at least on the official website. Obviously, the new item is based on the GA106-300 chip with 3584 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6 video memory with 192-bit bus width. At the same time, Tom’s Hardware reports that the GPU frequency of the new product in Boost mode is 1867 MHz, which is 5.1% higher than the value announced by NVIDIA. The video card is equipped with a dual system BIOS with a quiet and productive mode of operation.

The new items include one 8-pin and one 6-pin auxiliary power connector. They have indicator lights to indicate correct operation. The manufacturer recommends using a 600W PSU for the GeForce RTX 3060 Aorus Elite.

Of the external interfaces, the video card has two HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The graphics accelerator is 296 mm long, 117 mm high, and 56 mm wide. In a PC case, the novelty will occupy 2.5 expansion slots.

Recall that the official start of sales of various versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 will take place tomorrow, February 25. Full-fledged independent reviews will appear then.
