Gigabyte unveils GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision OC for digital content creators

Gigabyte has introduced the fourth Vision series graphics card based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture – GeForce RTX 3060 Ti based on the GA104-200 GPU. The novelty offers factory overclocking of the chip to 1755 MHz in Boost mode, which is 5.4% higher than the nominal value.

The graphics accelerator is equipped with a WindForce 3X three-fan cooling system. However, unlike the older models, for which they need for 2.5-3 free expansion slots was declared inside the PC case, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision has a real two-slot design.

The card is built on a completely non-standard printed circuit board equipped with two additional power connectors – 8- and 6-pin. Combined with the PCIe interface, this provides 300W of power. Do you need so much – the question?

The manufacturer itself does not declare the level of power consumption of the new product, so it is difficult to say how much it differs from the power consumption level of the reference version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition, which is 200 W.

An additional feature of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision is its non-standard set of video outputs. Unlike the reference NVIDIA version, the Gigabyte version uses two HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. Unfortunately, the new product does not have a USB Type-C connector, which could be useful for digital content creators, on which the Vision series of products is primarily designed.

The manufacturer did not specify when the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision will go on sale.
