Gigabyte unveils GeForce RTX 3080 Aorus Xtreme WaterForce WB graphics card with full coverage water block

Gigabyte has introduced one of the most powerful and advanced versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator. The Aorus Xtreme WaterForce WB (GV-N3080AORUSX WB-10GD) was the first among the GeForce RTX 3080 versions to be equipped with a full-coverage water block for inclusion in liquid cooling systems.

The new product offers factory overclocking of the GPU. The clock frequency of the latter in Boost mode is declared at 1845 MHz, which is 7.9% higher than the reference value.

It is noteworthy that this figure is less than that of the four-slot version of the Xtreme with an air cooling system, where the Boost-mode frequency is declared at 1905 MHz.

Model Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 AORUS WaterForce WB is equipped with a non-standard set of video connectors from three DisplayPort 1.4a and three HDMI. The manufacturer does not specify whether it is about the HDMI 2.1 standard.

The board is completely covered by an RGB backlit water block that can be synchronized with other Aorus products (CPU coolers, peripherals, monitors, etc.).

It should also be added that the company is very likely to introduce Xtreme WaterForce models soon, which will offer a maintenance-free liquid cooling system.

When registering a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 AORUS WaterForce WB video card on the official website, the company is ready to offer a four-year warranty on it. Unfortunately, Gigabyte does not indicate when the new product will go on sale, nor does it indicate its cost.

Presumably, this model will not be available. Typically, these graphics card options are aimed at a very narrow audience of computer enthusiasts.
