Sources say Samsung wants to use the same glass in the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2, but a final decision has not yet been made. It is reported that the Korean giant is still considering plastic as an alternative if there are any problems with the glass.
For example, the use of glass can significantly increase the mass of the smartphone, which Samsung wants to avoid. Moreover, yesterday’s rumors even claimed that the new model, despite the increased dimensions, would be lighter than its predecessor.
Presumably, the Galaxy Fold 2 will receive the main screen with a diagonal of 7.7 or 8 inches. It was also reported yesterday that the device would not receive a stylus.
