Google Assistant started to work slowly after updating
Google released an Android Auto update earlier this month, and not everything went smoothly with this update.
Google admits annoying Android Auto issues
Quite a large number of users began to complain about delays in the car platform, a significant slowdown in the voice assistant Google Assistant and a decrease in the speed of response to user commands. In some cases, Google Assistant doesn’t respond at all to commands. In addition to delays, Google Assistant sometimes “interrupts” the user without listening to him to the end.
All this makes the voice assistant function practically useless since it no longer allows you to control Android Auto applications, send text messages, and so on.
Users of various smartphones, cars and car media systems installed after the sale are complaining. Many people associate the appearance of problems with the recent update of the system interface.
Google has already acknowledged the problem and is working on a fix. However, the timing of the release of the fix was not announced, and there was no advice on how to temporarily fix the problem.
