The update will appear automatically
Google has released a small but important update to the Google Calendar service (Google Calendar). The update is designed to make life easier for those who organize meetings with Microsoft Outlook users.
After the update, which will appear automatically for everyone gradually over several weeks, Google Calendar will start showing Microsoft Outlook users as participants and organizers of meetings and appointments.
Google Calendar now shows Microsoft Outlook users in attendee lists
Google developers explained:
Previously, if a Microsoft Outlook user invited a Google Calendar user to a meeting, their name would not appear in the list of meeting participants at all. Starting today, we’re updating this experience so that the Outlook user who hosted the meeting is listed among other meeting participants as the host.
