Google has recently launched a unified control panel for playing music and video for all tabs in the corporate browser Chrome. The function is called Media Hub. Now it becomes even more convenient.

In the early test build of Chrome 86, there was an opportunity to detach the panel and move it to your liking. In addition, in addition to the already familiar control buttons, a new button has appeared in the media center for quickly transferring video to the “Picture-in-picture” mode. 

A floating media center can be activated in Chrome Canary 86 using the Enable overlay controls for Global Media Controls flag on the page with other experimental chrome: // flags functions.

The stable version of Chrome 86 will be available to the general public in August 2020.
