Google’s New Experiment: YouTube Tells Video Content in a Brief from AI

As stated in the description of the new test feature, annotations can appear on search and browse pages. At the same time, the automatically generated “summary” does not replace, but complements the description of the video, which is created by the author of the video.

By design, such an annotation is intended to provide a brief overview of the content of the video and should help users in their decision to watch.

The experiment is conducted among a limited number of videos and users, only in English
