From which Renault cars once descended
The assembly of Moskvich crossovers at the former Moscow Renault plant started last year with a screwdriver assembly. Now these cars are already assembled on the assembly line, which can be considered a great progress in the production cycle. Of course, the conveyor assembly allowed to increase the volume of production.
Great progress in the production of “Moskvich”
As the AvtoVzglyad portal writes with reference to the project manager of the Moskvich plant, Maxim Klyushkin, the company already assembles 165 cars a day. So far, these are only gasoline Moskvich 3, but from June electric Moskvich 3e should also be put on the conveyor.
The nearest plans include an increase in production up to 230 cars per day. The next goal is to master body welding (now, despite the fact that the conveyor has been launched, cars are still assembled from ready-made Chinese car kits). The production of test bodies at the plant itself is scheduled for the end of this year, and in the first quarter of 2024, full-fledged serial production with welding and painting at the enterprise itself should begin.
