A full-fledged successor to the Poco F1 is indeed in development
India’s largest online retailer, Flipkart, recently held a massive sale called the Big Billion Days, which announced discounts on smartphones from a variety of manufacturers.
Great success for Poco. A million smartphones in less than a week, in India alone
At the end of the sale, Poco officially announced that it has sold over a million smartphones during this period (October 16-21). Earlier this year, Poco was spun off into an independent brand within the Xiaomi Group. In India, his devices are sold exclusively on Flipkart. The brand currently sells the following five phone models in the country:
- Poco X2
- Poco X3
- Poco M2 Pro
- Poco M2
- Poco C3
All of the above smartphones have been discounted except for the latest Poco X3. It is also worth noting that essentially all Poco smartphones, except the Poco X3, are renamed versions of previously released Redmi models.
According to Anuj Sharma, Regional Director for Poco India, the Poco F2 Pro was not a true successor to the Poco F1, so this model was not released to the Indian market. However, he also confirmed that the long-awaited full-fledged successor to the Poco F1 is indeed in development .
