Honor Play4T and Honor Play4T Pro are two new low cost smartphones from the Chinese company. Here are the features, the price and when they will arrive in Italy
Honor keeps its promises and, pending the presentation of the new Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro smartphones, officially unveils two new low-cost devices: Honor Play4T and Honor Play4T Pro. These are two exciting mid-range smartphones and, as per the “tradition” of the Chinese brand, characterized by an excellent value for money, an attractive design and a series of hardware specifications worthy of note.
The two devices differ in many hardware features, starting right from the processor. On the Honor Play4T, we find a Krin 710A chipset, while on the Pro version the more performing Kirin 810. The photographic sector and the amount of ram are also different. The new smartphones Honor Play4T and Honor Play4T Pro will only be available in China; for now, Honor has not yet revealed when the two mid-range Android phones will be marketed in Europe.
Honor Play4T: technical specifications
Honor Play4T is equipped with a 6.39-inch OLED display with HD + resolution and a teardrop notch that encloses the 8-megapixel front camera. The screen is huge thanks to the particular design that sports a display-body ratio of 90.15%. The beating heart of the new Honor Play4T is the octa-core Kirin 710A processor, combined with a 6GB RAM and a 128GB storage capacity, expandable via microSD.
The rear photographic sector consists of a double vertical camera equipped with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and a second 2-megapixel lens. The battery is 4,000 mAh. But it does not have the quick charge function—MagicUI 3.1 operating system based on Android 10.
Honor Play4T Pro: technical characteristics
On the Honor Play 4T Pro, we find a 6.3 ″ FHD + OLED display. More powerful is the processor, an octa-core Kirin 810 combined with two different RAM capacities, 6 or 8GB, and an expandable 128GB internal storage unit. The fingerprint sensor is located under the display.
The photographic sector consists of a 16-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture integrated into the drop-shaped notch of the screen. In the back, we find a triple camera with the 48-megapixel primary sensor and f / 1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle and f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel telephoto lens with f / 2.4 aperture. The battery is the same as the standard model, but it is equipped with fast charging.

Honor 4T PlayFor the moment the two smartphones are only available for the Chinese market and the release times for the Euroa are not known.
The Honor Play4T was launched for 1,199 yuan, which at the current exchange rate is around 155 euros.
For the 6GB / 128GB version of the Honor Play4T, the list price is 1,499 yuan, about 195 euros at the current exchange rate. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model has to pay 1,699 yuan, around 220 euros at the current exchange rate.
