Earlier there were rumors that the new series of smartphones will include three modifications – the base version of the Honor V40, the more powerful model Honor V40 Pro and the flagship version of the Honor V40 Pro +. Moreover, they were credited with the presence of different processors, in particular, HiSilicon Kirin and MediaTek Dimensity chips.

However, it is now said that due to the current situation and the sale of the Honor brand, the developer has changed plans for the V40 devices. The number of modifications is likely to be reduced, and it was decided to abandon the use of Kirin processors altogether.

Therefore, only versions on the MediaTek Dimensity platform will go on sale. Now we are talking about one of these devices: it appears under the code YOK-AN10 and the codename YORK. What kind of chip will be used is not specified, but since this is a flagship device, then the chip in it must also be appropriate, for example, Dimensity 1000+.

According to the available data, the equipment of the new items will include a 6.72-inch FHD + screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a multi-module camera with a 40-megapixel Sony IMX700 RYYB sensor, a 66-watt SuperCharge battery, and stereo speakers.
