The head said that the events of The Callisto Protocol take place in the PUBG universe. It is worth clarifying here right away: Striking Distance is an internal studio of PUBG Corporation, so you shouldn’t be surprised at the connection between projects. According to Glen Schofield, he met with representatives of PUBG Corp. and shared his idea. And then together they figured out how to weave The Callisto Protocol into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds storyline.

The chapter also shared how intimidating Striking Distance will be: “I am looking forward to making the scariest game on next-generation platforms [and PC]. From what I’ve heard – it’s hard to get creative and talk about it beautifully – but from what I’ve heard, [Dead Space] was one of the scariest games [of its time], and I want to do the same on the new a generation that can already be called current

The last detail of The Callisto Protocol, which Schofield spoke about, concerns the third-person view implemented in the game: “You want to see your character and you want to be in danger. You want to see your character and what happens next … how the blood will appear on your suit
