A list of conditional contraindications for using Apple’s upcoming mixed reality headset has surfaced online.
Apple will warn potential buyers about when they should not use the headset or if they will need to consult a doctor before using it.
How dangerous will Apple’s mixed reality headset be?
This includes people with Meniere’s disease, traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, migraine and dizziness. You also need to be careful if you are prone to inner ear infections, ADHD, anxiety disorders, epilepsy, blackouts or seizures. Wearers of pacemakers and pregnant women should also be careful.
In general, this is a normal list, especially considering the very essence of the headset, when the user will work as closely as possible with super-bright screens.
