DxOMark experts tested the camera of the Sony Xperia 10 V smartphone. The smartphone with a price of 450 euros received only 78 points and took 119th place in the overall rating.

This is a really bad result for 2023 at this price point. The Samsung Galaxy A53 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro received about the same amount, but the more modern Galaxy A33 already has 85 points. Even the old Pixel 4a boasts 100 points.
The disadvantages of the new Sony are many – this is low detail when shooting video, and a narrow dynamic range, artifacts and much more. In general, it would be difficult to expect any good result from a 48-megapixel sensor with an optical format of 1/2 inch. Actually, even Sony’s flagships are often much inferior to competitors in terms of photos and videos, and even mid-budget models are even more so.
