HP unveils EliteBook 800 G8 family of notebooks powered by Tiger Lake processors

By the end of the month, HP will begin selling EliteBook 800 G8 business notebooks based on Intel Tiger Lake hardware with eleventh generation Core processors. Buyers will be able to choose between four modifications.

In particular, the announced model’s HP EliteBook 830 G8, EliteBook 840 G8, and EliteBook 850 G8, equipped with a screen with a diagonal of 13.3 14 and 15.6 inches, respectively. In addition, a 13.3-inch convertible version of the EliteBook x360 830 G8 is introduced, which has a lid that can rotate 360 ​​degrees to put the device in tablet mode with touch control.

The display for all versions has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Graphics processing is occupied by the Intel Iris Xe accelerator, and the 15.6-inch model can also be equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card.

HP will offer bundles with a Core i5 and Core i7 processor. The amount of RAM DDR4-3200 – up to 64 GB (up to 32 GB for the convertible model). Supports up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

Other equipment of computers is as follows: wireless adapters Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5, optional 4G or 5G module, stereo speakers, two Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0 interface, and a standard audio jack. The price of the laptops has not yet been disclosed.
