HP unveils Snapdragon 8cx Elite Folio convertible laptop
HP unveiled the Elite Folio business laptop in conjunction with the all-digital CES 2021 Consumer Electronics Show this year.
The novelty is equipped with a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1280 pixels; implemented support for touch control. A special mount-stand allows you to position the screen in the traditional way, slide it closer to you, and also put it back on the keyboard, turning the laptop into a tablet.
It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 hardware platform with a frequency of processing cores up to 3.1 GHz. Supports fifth-generation (5G) cellular communications through the Snapdragon X55 modem.
The arsenal of new items – up to 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB, wireless adapters Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, Bang & Olufsen audio system with four speakers, 720p front camera.
The set of interfaces includes only two USB Type-C 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions are 298.6 x 229.6 x 15.95 mm, weight – 1.29 kg.
The operating system is Windows 10 Pro. The declared battery life on one recharge of the battery reaches 24.5 hours. The price has not been specified.
