Samsung announces the Galaxy Book Odyssey gaming laptop with GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics

Samsung said the Galaxy Book Odyssey is powered by 11th Gen Core processors from the Tiger Lake-H family. At the moment, Intel has presented only four core models of this family, but soon, it is expected to announce also chips with six and eight cores. It is unknown what kind of chips are used in the new product, but compelling solutions will likely be available.

More interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy Book Oddysey is the first announced laptop to feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics. Samsung has not disclosed specifications for the GPU, but it is known to have 2,560 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR6 memory. According to Samsung, the device can be purchased with a regular GeForce RTX 3050 without the Ti prefix, which has not yet been announced. Both graphics are expected to be the first mobile discrete graphics cards based on the Ampere GA107.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey will receive up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory. The capacity of the NVMe solid-state drive can be up to 2TB. The computer will receive a 15.6-inch matrix with Full HD resolution. The device will hit the market in August, starting at $ 1399.
