Huawei equips thin Hand 14 laptops with powerful AMD Ryzen 4000H processors
Huawei, which is experiencing serious difficulties in connection with the US sanctions, announced the new generation MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 portable computers, built on the AMD hardware platform.
Laptops are equipped with displays with a diagonal of 13 and 14 inches, respectively. Used panels of 2K format with a resolution of 2160 × 1440 pixels and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. In the younger version, the screen occupies 88% of the lid area, in the older version – 90%. Some modifications have touch control support.
Laptops can carry the Ryzen 5 4600H (six cores; 3.0-4.0 GHz) or the Ryzen 7 4800H (eight cores; 2.9-4.2 GHz). All modifications have 16 GB of RAM and a solid-state drive with a capacity of 512 GB.
The 13-inch model weighs 1.3 kg and is 14.9 mm thick. The battery with a capacity of 42 Wh with a 65-watt charge is responsible for power supply. Pricing ranges from $ 665 to $ 780.
The 14-inch version weighs 1.49 kg and is 15.9 mm thick. The battery capacity has been increased to 56 Wh. Such computer costs between $ 725 and $ 825.
New items are endowed with a power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The operating system Windows 10 Home Edition is used as the software platform.
