Huawei invented a smartphone with a hexagon camera
Huawei, which is experiencing serious difficulties due to sanctions from the United States, does not despair and continues to experiment with smartphone design. The description of the next device, according to the resource LetsGoDigital, was found in the patent documentation.
Illustrations of the device are published on the website of the China’s National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). As you can see in the images, Huawei is designing a new all-in-one smartphone equipped with a narrow bezel display.
A feature of the device will be a multi-module main camera, made in the form of a hexagon. This system will include five optical units with image sensors and a flash.
The camera offers three options for location: it can be located in the center of the rear panel, as well as pressed against the left or right edge.
The device has no visible front camera. Observers believe it could be placed under the screen. At the bottom is the USB Type-C port, at the top is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
However, Huawei has not yet announced plans to bring such a smartphone to the commercial market: now the device exists only on paper.
