Huawei is already leaving the important smartphone market? First in line – Taiwan

Some media reported this week that Huawei has already withdrawn from Taiwan’s smartphone market. The source was that the release of the flagship line of Huawei P40 Pro, which was to take place in this country in September-October 2020, was postponed indefinitely.

Xunwei Technologies, which represents Huawei’s interests in the region, has already commented on the rumors, saying that Huawei has not withdrawn from the Taiwanese mobile phone market, but the company’s future in the region is currently being assessed by Huawei’s leadership.

At a developer conference in September this year, Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong said Huawei mobile phone shipments in the first half of 2020 totaled 105 million units.
