Testing begins for Honor 30 and Huawei Nova series smartphones
Huawei has begun the second stage of distribution of the test version of the proprietary shell EMUI 11 (Magic UI 4.0) for its smartphones.

On the day of the announcement of EMUI 11, the shell became available for the test to users of smartphones Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro +, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 RS, as well as tablets MatePad Pro and MatePad Pro 5G.
Now, 2 thousand users of the Huawei Nova 7 series, as well as Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G will be able to join the beta testing of EMUI 11.
For Honor smartphones, a branded version of the shell is proposed for testing – Magic UI 4.0. The company is recruiting 2 thousand testers among users of Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, as well as Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro.
The EMUI 11 shell is based on the Android 10 operating system, not Android 11. In the future, a transition to the HongmengOS (HarmonyOS) proprietary OS is expected.
